PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (Quebec Office)

Description
The Principal Consultant is a prominent member of the organization and is involved in all of its areas.  The successful candidate will:

  • Possess and develop his or her own network on the market, mainly in service and transactional companies, and be familiar with the manufacturing market;
  • Intervene with customer senior management by offering the best services and sustainable results in operational strategy, transformation and performance;
  • Participate in the company's business development and maintain solid business relationships with customers;
  • Participate in the management and growth of the Quebec office

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering or Management (graduate studies an asset)
  • Minimum of 15 years experience, with Management and Consulting expertise
  • Business development skills (having an established network, an asset)
  • Strong management skills (communication and interpersonal relations)
  • Lean production and Lean Six Sigma experience (established market expertise)
  • Availability to travel in Quebec and abroad
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)

PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT, OPERATIONAL STRATEGY AND PRODUCTIVITY

Description
The principal consultant plays a strategic role in the activities of SMEs, large and multinational companies in both industrial and service sectors to assist them in delivering higher quality products at lower costs.

Role and responsibilities:

  • To consult, train and provide support on all levels based on extensive knowledge and experience in continuous improvement, productivity and management
  • In collaboration with upper management, identify solutions to be implemented in various areas such as business transformation and strategy (Lean Enterprise), operations management, productivity improvement, distribution and logistics
  • Interact with management and production teams during projects
  • Take on project leadership:
    • Supervise and train consultants working on projetcs
    • Follow up on quality, budgets and turnaround time with clients
  • Participate in business development and in sustaining  loyalty among clients

Qualifications:

  • University diploma in Engineering or Management (Master's Degree an asset)
  • Minimum 15 years experience, including several years as a manager or consultant
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Interest in consultation and training in a business context
  • Available to travel in Quebec, Canada and abroad
  • CPIM or Lean Six Sigma certification, an asset
OTHER POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

CONSULTANT (- 10 YEARS):

Carry out projects in business process optimization for manufacturing and service companies and contribute in project management and in developing tools and methodologies used in the field. 

SENIOR CONSULTANT (10 YEARS AND +):

The senior consultant carries out projects as per set mandates, objectives, activities and deliverables; while respecting defined schedule and budget. He also participates in the project's success by informing the Project Manager about planning and execution.
