Increased value and reduced costs?

It's possible!  Here's how:

A product's perceived value is proportional to what the customer is willing to pay for it.  The challenge faced by competitive manufacturers is to reduce product costs while maintaining or better yet, improving product value.

Such a challenge cannot be met using intuition or experience alone.  To guarantee success, it is necessary to take into account all internal requirements and external competitive elements through a structured process.  Furthermore, each project may have more than one solution...

Value Analysis

Value Analysis is a systematic method that enables you to find the best solution to satisfy or exceed customer satisfaction, through detailed analysis of all elements important to the manufacturer.  Analyse de la valeur

Value Analysis is a 7-step process:

1. Information gathering: Project objectives and issues
2. Functional analysis: What should be done and at what cost?
3. Generating ideas: Finding alternative solutions
4. Evaluating ideas: Determine best ideas
5. Developing ideas: Feasibility study
6. Presenting ideas: Comparative analysis and selection
7. Project execution

Also called ''Value Management'', the objective is to reduce production costs through real and measurable savings without impacting quality or performance.

Promaintech Novaxa is currently offering a complete Value Analysis training program, certified by the Canadian Society of Value Analysis (CSVA).  This 5-day training session will be held on September 18-19-20 and September 25-26, 2007.
